Melvin (Mike) Jack Baron, 89, died Oct. 22. He was the husband of Joan (Gordon) Baron. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Mary (Dunn) and Joseph Baron. He was a sergent in the U.S. Army serving in Korea. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Suzie, Samantha, Sadie, Phoebe, Maggie, and Abigail; two nephews and a niece. He was also predeceased by his sister Helen Apter and brother Munson Baron.
