Gerald Hamburg, 90, of Longmeadow, Mass., died Oct. 20. He was the husband of Matalie Goodman Hamburg. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., he grew up in Moodus and Hartford. He was the son of the late Harry Hamburg and Ida Gottfried Ritter, and the stepson of the late Morris Goldberg, Samuel Darling and Nathan Ritter. He served in the U.S. Maratime and was stationed in New London. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Gail Antokal of Wilbraham, and Susan Johnson of Southwick, Mass.; his grandchildren, Michael Foint and his wife Michelle of Southwick, Aaron Foint and his wife Julie of Webster, Mass., Noah Foint and his wife Sara of Southwick, Caleb Foint and his wife Molly of Collinsville, and Avi Foint and his wife Yaeli of Cambridge, Mass.; his great-granchildren, Gina, Gabriella, George, Anna, Brody, Paxton, Gavin, and Anjali; his brothers-in-laws, Marvin Konick of Silver Spring, Md., and Jack Goodman and his wife Fredrica Simon Goodman of Poughkeepsie N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews. He was also pre-deceased by his in-laws, Joseph H. Goodman and Beatrice Alpert Goodman, and his sister-in-law Charlotte Goodman Konick.
