Garden of Delights

Residents, staff and guests of Hoffman SummerWood, a senior living community in West Hartford, enjoyed a stroll through “Senta’s Garden,” at a recent reception to unveil the newly expanded space. Originally constructed in the summer of 2014, the graceful new garden was donated by Dr. Lou Brown and his wife, Trudi, to honor his mother, Senta Brown, a former SummerWood resident. The garden now offers a quiet place where one can be soothed by the serene ambiance of flowers, a stately garden sculpture, and an arbor and water fountain.
