“Mazel Tov” on a championship season

The Greater Hartford Synagogue Softball League (GHSSL) concluded its 25th season of play August 13 with a well-played 11-4 Tournament victory by West Hartford’s Mazel Tov Solomon Schechter Alumni team over the Beth Shalom/B’nai Israel team from Manchester. This marks a record-breaking fourth straight league championship for the Mazel Tov team. The GHSSL is a co-ed slow-pitch league composed of five teams comprising six area synagogues. League play is from June through August.
