Gerald Stephen Kopel, 72, died Sept. 3. He was the husband of Linda Kopel. He was the son of the late Pearl and Hyman Kopel. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Jennifer and her husband Peter, Lauryn and her husband Brian, and Lee and his wife Micky; his grandchildren, Miranda, Eliana, Noah, Nathan, Gavin and Lexi; and his sisters, Laura Kroeger and Barbara Katz.
