Donald Morton Axleroad, 82, of Stamford, died Sept. 5. He was the husband of Erica Weingast Axleroad. He was born in Albany, N.Y. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister Helene Gross of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; his nephews, Kevin Gross of Chicago, Ill., and Cary Gross and his wife Anna Reisman of Woodbridge; two grandnieces; one grandnephew; and his friend of many years, Genevieve Murphy.
