William “Bill” Angel, 60, of Simsbury, died Sept. 12. He was the husband of Linda Angel. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on September 29, 1956, to Betty (Goldberg) Angel and the late Dr. Gerald Angel. In addition to his wife and his mother, he is survived by his children, Melanie LeRoy and her husband Matt, and Derek Angel, all of West Hartford; his grandson, Grayson “Squiggles” LeRoy; his mother-in-law Rose Silverman of Waterbury; his sisters, Cathy Shandler and her husband Craig of Calabasas, Calif., and Lauren Santopietro and her husband Rick of North Granby; his sister-in-law Tess Schneps and her husband Steve of Doylestown, Penn.; his brothers-in-law, Stewart Silverman of Lexington, Mass., and Adam Silverman of Thomaston; and several nieces and nephews.
