Manuel Stein, 86, of Windsor, formerly of Hartford, died August 2. He was the husband of Rhoda (Wittlin) Stein. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Joseph and Sarah (Karelefsky) Stein. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was an active and long-time member of Congregation Beth Ahm in Windsor. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Louis Stein and his wife Ann of Prospect, Ann Tucker and her husband Ross of Wethersfield, Judith Rosen and her husband Steven of New Jersey, and Rae Selinger of Windsor; his grandchildren, Joshua and Dayna Stein, Samuel and Alex Rosen, and Jessica, Sarina and Victoria Tucker; his great-grandchildrenl, Elijah and Zoey-Grace Stein; his brother Arnold Stein and his wife Lorrie of South Carolina; and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his brother Jack Stein.
