Arthur Stoltz, 99, of Bloomfield, died May 31. He was the husband of Lillian (Cohen) Stoltz. Born in Hartford, he was the son of Eva (Weinberg) and Benjamin Stoltz. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the former Teferes Israel Synagogue and currently a member of Beth David Synagogue in West Hartford. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Frances and Gary Lowenstein; his granddaughters, Julie Rosenberg and her husband Craig, and Emily Scher and her husband Howard; her great-grandsons, Simon, Jonah, Elliot and Spencer; and his brother, Edwin Stoltz of Delray Beach, Fla. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Albert (Smiley), and Harry Stoltz, and his sister Pauline Stoltz.
