More than 60 people prepared for the holiday of Shavuot by attending a lecture by Dr. Leon Chameides at The Emanuel Synagogue in West Hartford. Hosted by the syngogue’s Adult Education Committee, the lecture centered on the Book of Ruth – its possible authorship and why it is read on Shavuot.
