GOLLOB

Fred Gollob, 89, died May 10. He was the widower of Carolyn (Carol) Francis Rosenberg. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Morris and Dora (Rothman) Gollob. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as an ETM2 (Electronic Technician’s Mate Petty Officer 2nd Class), on the command ship USS Mount McKinley in the South Pacific. He is survived by his children, David Gollob and his wife Nicole Gabai of West Hartford, Bruce Gollob of Basking Ridge, N.J., and LouisAnn Gollob of Fort Collins, Colo.; and his grandchildren, Marc Gollob, Sandra Gollob, Michael Gollob, Brielle Levy and Anika Levy.
