Lola Fox, of Colchester, 94, died May 30. She was the widow of Morris Fox. Born in Lodz, Poland, she was the daughter of Jacob and Chava Zylberman. She was one of two of six siblings to survive the Holocaust. She survived the Lodz Ghetto, Auschwitz concentration camp, and other work and slave labor camps before being liberated by the Russians in May 1945. She was also predeceased by her daughter Eva, and her brother Max. She is survived by her children, Jack Fox and his wife Audrey, and Marilyn Latchum and her husband Dennis Latchum; her son-in-law Roy Goldstein; her grandchildren, Damon Goldstein and Michelle Fox; and several nephews and their families.
