Evelyn (“Evie”) Filkoff, 92, of East Hartford, died May 24. She was the widow of Jacob (“Gay”) Filkoff. Born in East Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Rose Kaminsky. She was a member of the synagogue at Old Colony Beach. She is survived by her children, Marcia Nese and her husband Pete, Steve Filkoff and his wife Arlene, and Larry Filkoff and his fiancee Ginger; her grandchildren, Ron, Mark, David, Jennifer and Stephanie; and many nieces and nephews.
