Kathryn Shapiro Rubin, 84, died April 17. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of Joseph and Mollie Sack Shapiro. She was formerly married to Alan Rubin. She is survived by her daughters, Ann Rubin and her husband Jeffrey Kaufman of Woodbridge, and Alice Rubin of Lebanon; and her granddaughters, Rachel and Sarah Kaufman; her sister-in-law; and a niece. She was predeceased by her brother, Benjamin.
