Bennett “Ben” Millstein, 88, of Bloomfield, 88, died May 13. He was the widower of Janice (Ephraim) Millstein. Raised in Hartford, he was the son of the late Gary and Sadie (Bycel) Millstein. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of Beth Hillel Synagogue. He is survived by three daughters, Paula Fink and her husband Kenneth of West Hartford, Brenda Newman and her husband Michael of Bloomfield, and Susan Briganti and her husband Vincent of West Hartford; his sister-in-law Lois Glasser and her husband Norman; and his sister-in-law Elena “Lee” Millstein; his grandchildren, Stephen Wexler and his wife Maya, Jeffrey Fink and his wife Amanda, Allison Meyers and her husband Matthew, Melissa Newman, and Matthew and Rachel Briganti; his great-grandchildren, Alexandra and Margaret Meyers and Alden Wexler; and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his sister Evelyn, and brothers Sam and Jerry.
