Ruth Levin Merblum, 98, of West Hartford, died April 30. She was the widow of Howard A. Merblum. Born in Springfield, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mamie Levin. She is survived by her son Franklin Merblum and his wife Susan of Bloomfield; her grandchildren, Rebecca Merblum and her husband Bruce of Los Angeles, Calif., Christina Merblum and her husband Hugo of Zurich, Switzerland, Thomas Ferrero and his wife Kristen of Savannah, Ga., and Michael Hazard and his wife Cheryl of Windsor Locks; her great-grandson Henry of Zurich, Switzerland; and two nieces and their families. She was also predeceased by her sister Elizabeth Feldman and her brother Robert Levin.
