Burton H. Slossberg, 79, of Hamden, died Feb. 13. He was the husband of Edith A. Slossberg. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Herman and Rachel Slossberg. He served as a medic in the Army, National Guard, stationed at Fort Dix, New Jersey, and Fort Sam Houston, in San Antonio, Texas. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister, Selma Melliza and her husband Manual, of Orlando, Fla.; his children, David Slossberg and wife Gayle of Milford, and Sheryl Sadinsky and husband Marc of Cromwell; and his grandchildren, Jeremy, Alex and Rebecca Slossberg and Rachel and Brett Sadinsky.
