Joel R. Lefkowitz, 88, of West Hartford, formerly of Bloomfield, died Feb. 11. He was the widower of the late Carol N. Lefkowitz. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Samuel and Gertrude (Hoffman) Lefkowitz. He is survived by children, Rae E. Goldstein and her husband Laurence of Farmington, and Ira R. Lefkowitz of Glastonbury; his brother Herman Lefkowitz and his wife Nancy, of Bloomfield; and his grandchildren, Jonathan M. Goldstein and Sara A. Goldstein.
