Rubin Goldstein, 83, died Dec. 20. He was the husband of Sylvia (Galitzer) Goldstein. Born in the Bronx and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Sam and Rachel “Ray” (Faier) Goldstein. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Lori Jean Goldstein and her husband, William Carter, of Denver, Colo., Susan May Goldstein of Irvine, Calif., and Pamela Joy Goldstein and her husband Michael Gefers, of Somerville, Mass.; his brother Murray Goldstein and wife Esther Goldstein of Boynton Beach, Fla.; his grandson Noah Quinn Goldstein-Gefers; and many nieces and nephews.
