Greenwich rabbi honored by Israel Cancer Research Fund

GREENWICH – Rabbi Andrew Sklarz of Greenwich Reform Synagogue became the first honoree of the Connecticut chapter of the Israel Cancer Research Fund (ICRF) at the organization’s gala on Sunday, Nov. 20 at Temple Sinai in Greenwich. Dan Peer, chair of Tel Aviv University Cancer Biology Research Center delivered the evening’s keynote address. “I am pleased to be honored by ICRF whose mission is to support cancer research programs in Israel, which have enabled me and many others to survive and thrive,” said Sklarz.
