Ernest M. Sherry, 93, of West Hartford, died Nov. 15. He was the husband of Estelle Sherry. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Samuel and Rose Sherry. He served in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He was a member of Beth El Temple of West Hartford. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Stephen Sherry and his wife Cheryl, Harriet Sherry, and Richard Sherry and his wife Nancy; his brother Gerald Sherry and his wife Marilyn; his grandchildren, Benjamin Sherry and his wife Lisa, Mark Sherry, Daniel Sherry, Rebecca Sherry, Deborah Foster and her husband Todd, Janet Sherry-Smith, Joshua Slopak and his wife Lindsey, and Philip Slopak and his wife Elizabeth; and his great-grandchildren, Emily Sherry and Lyla Slopak. He was also predeceased by his sister, Sylvia Federman.
