Leslie “Les” Meyers, 95, of Stamford, died Nov. 22. He was the husband of Sylvia Grossinger Meyers. He was born in Bridgeport. He was a veteran of World War II, serving as a member of the U.S. Army Air Force and later as state commander of the Jewish War Veterans of the United States, Fred Robbins Post 142 of Stamford. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Sherry Meyers Meeks and her husband Phil of New York, N.Y., and Marty Meyers and his wife Suzanne of Middlebury; his grandchildren, Chelsea Meeks Kaplan and her husband Rick of Bethesda, Md., Carey Meyers and her husband Steven Kane of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Matthew Meyers and his wife Fran Lartigue of New Marlborough, Mass.; and his great-grandchildren, Zach, Drew and Ben Kaplan, Madeleine and Elliot Meyers-Kane and Mirabelle, Isaac and Quinn Meyers.
