Marvin Hyman, 86, of Bloomfield, and Delray Beach, Fla., died Nov. 1. He was the husband of Sydna (Ross) Hyman. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Louis and Evelyn Hyman. He was a long-standing member of Beth Hillel Synagogue of Bloomfield. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving with distinction during the Korean Conflict. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Paul Hyman and his partner Bill Bracker of Jersey City, N.J., Louis Hyman and his wife Cathy of Dunedin, Fla., Seth Hyman and his wife Elizabeth of Atlanta, Ga., and Rick Hyman and his wife Mary Kay of Glastonbury; his grandchildren, Joey Faxas, Michael Faxas, Joshua Hyman, Natalie Hyman, Alyssa Hyman, Sarah Hyman, Molly Hyman and Jordan Hyman; his brother Henry Hyman and his wife Jeanie Hyman of Vernon; and many nieces and nephews.
