Beatrice Ashen Swidler, 98, died Oct. 5. She was the widow of S. Zachary Swidler. Raised in Manhattan, she was the daughter of Morris and Rebecca Asinofsky. She was also predeceased her brother Sidney and sisters Bluma and Anita. She was active in the USO during World War II during WWII. She is survived by her children, Steven A. Swidler his wife Carol, Sanford Swidler and his wife Susan, and Robert N. Swidler and his wife Kim; her grandchildren Alison, Brant, Pamela, Alexandra, Tony and Craig; and her great-grandchildren Eric, Sarah and Alex.
