Henry Seltzer, 105, of Madison, formerly of West Hartford, died Oct. 4. He was the husband of Shirley Cohan Seltzer. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., he was the son of Rebecca and Harry Seltzer. He served in the U.S. Navy in 1944 at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., and later as Chief Pharmacist Mate on an LSM (Landing Ship Medium) off the coast of Japan. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Diane Levy and her husband Steven of Durham; his granddaughter Hilary Beler; his great-grandsons, Jacob Eric Beler and James David Beler of Evans, Ga; his brother-in-law Robert Cohan; and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his son David, five brothers, four sisters, a sister-in-law Josephine Cohan Laflin and her husband Jack Laflin, and his sister-in-law Sally Cohen.
