Simeon “Sandy” Horwitz, 86, of Orange, died Oct. 10. He was the widower of Dolores Horwitz and Munsey Horwitz. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Samuel and Florence (Levin) Horwitz. He is survived by his children, Jon Horwitz and his wife Jane of Rye Brook, N.Y., and Stacy Harris and her husband William of Old Lyme; his step-children, Richard Epstein and his wife Debra, and Jill Jones and her husband Gary; his grandchildren, Michael, Jeffrey, Harrison, Ethan, Aaron, Kate, Emily and Herbie; and four great-grandchildren. He was also predecieased by his sister Muriel Rosenberg.
