Henry Katz, 79, of Avon, died Sept. 3. He was the husband of Eileen (Cohen) Katz. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Bennie and Nettie Katz. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Douglas M. Katz and his wife Deirdre of Boxford, Mass., and Ronald L. Katz and his wife Fariba of Lyme; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Amir and Juliana.
