Morris Goodman,103, of West Hartford died Sept. 5. He was the widower of Sarah Buchman Goodman. He served as an Army master sargent in World War II. He was a founding member of Beth El Temple in West Hartford. He is survived by his children, Henry C. Goodman of East Amherst, N.Y., Robin Goodman of New York, N.Y., and Anne Ghory-Goodman and her husband Ward Ghory of Rochester, N.Y. and Orleans, Mass., Cathy Goodman Barnhorst and her husband Stephen Barnhorst of Kittery, Me.; and his grandchildren, Christopher (Marla) Barnhorst, Timothy (Lindsey) Barnhorst, Joseph (Amanda) Ghory, Adam Ghory and Michael Ghory; and his great-grandchildren, Madeline Barnhorst, Chase Barnhorst, Morgan Barnhorst, Brooklyn Barnhorst, Morris Barnhorst, and Edward Ghory. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Henry, Herman, and Saul.
