Dorothy “Dottie” (Friedman) Wernick, 91, of Key Biscayne, Fla, and Longmeadow, Mass., died August 3. She was the widow of Zane P. Wernick. Raised in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Israel and Lena (Chorches) Friedman. She was a member of Temple Beth El in Springfield, Mass. She is survived by her daughters, Miriam Wernick of Agawam, Mass., and Hope Wernick Wigmore and her husband W. Mark Wigmore of Simsbury; her grandchildren, Kelsea Wigmore, Zachary Wigmore and Ana Wigmore; her twin sister, Frances Weiner of West Hartford; and many nieces and nephews and their families.
