Harry Hans Meier, 91, of Sun City Center, Fla., formerly of Baltimore, Md., died August 16. He was the husband of Jari Meier. Born in Bocholt, Germany, he was the son of the late Max and Charlotte Meier. He was a Holocaust survivor who returned to Germany with the United States Army to serve in World War II and was awarded a Bronze Star for his service. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Carolyn Rosenfeld and her husband Sam, Ron Meier and his wife Joyce Raynor, Leslie Meier and her husband Michael Hines, and Debbie Kleinman and her husband Steve; his sister Martha Weiman and her husband Stanley; his grandchildren, Adam (Marcia) and Dan Rosenfeld, Rachel Meier and Jessica (Jason) Werner, Eric and Lauren Meier Hines; his great-grandchildren, Kieran, Max, and Oliver Rosenfeld, and Mia Werner; and several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his brother Werner Meier and his wife Carol.
