Harold Alan (“Cap” and “Cappy”) Caplan, 79, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Newington, West Hartford, New Canaan, Stamford and Norwalk, died August 7. He was the husband his wife Sandy Caplan. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Lisa and his son Mike.
