Laura (Small) Levine, 96, of 18 Tower Lane, New Haven, devoted wife of the late Abraham Levine, died at CT Hospice on Friday morning, May 27, 2016. Born in New Haven, November 9, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Lillian (Epstein) Small. Beloved mother of Dr. Jack Levine (Deborah Weinstein) of Milford, Dr. Robert Levine (Sharon) of Louisville, Ky., and Linda Reger (Robert) of Hamden. Dear sister of the late Al and Herb Small. Cherished grandmother of Jessica Levine, Sara Rigel (Andy), Meryl Levine (Brian), Collin Levine, Beth Birenbaum (Ben) and Alexander Reger (Shea). Treasured great-grandmother of Ava, Clayton, Arielle, Hailey and Chase. Funeral services were held on Monday, May 30 at Robert E. Shure Funeral Home in New Haven with interment at Beth El Memorial Park, Warner St., Hamden. Memorial contributions may be sent to CT Hospice or Towers Foundation (Knitting Group). A period of mourning was observed in Milford.
