As good as new

Rabbi Stanley Kessler (center), rabbi emeritus of Beth El Temple in West Hartford, stands with Arnold Greenberg (right) and Harold Lindenthal, on the synagogue’s front lawn, in front of the recently refurbished sculpture “Processional” by the late sculptor Elbert Weinberg. Arnold and his brother Leonard Greenberg donated the masterpiece to Beth El in 1993, in honor of Kessler’s 40th year of service to the congregation. Kessler is the Conservative synagogue’s founding rabbi. Lindenthal represents the Elbert Weinberg Trust.
