David Lipton, 92, of New Haven, died May 22. He was the husband of Dorothy (Miller) Lipton. Born in New Haven, he was the son of the late Abraham and Fannie Lipton. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force. He is survived by his children Bonnie Rice and her husband Alan of Woodbridge, and Howard Lipton of Sharon, Mass.; his grandchildren, Daniel and Alexandra Lipton, Samantha Myerson, Jenna and Hilary Rice; his great-grandchildren, Brady, Reese, Asher and Sydney; his sister Jacqueline Gold; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law Susan Lipton, and his sister Ruth Swirsky.
