Dr. Robert Flescher, 79, of West Hartford has died. He was the husband of Joyce Weinberger Flescher. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late A. Harry Flescher and Esther Bilinsky Flescher. He was a member of the Emanuel Synagogue in West Hartford. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Andrew Michael Flescher, and Ellen Flescher Foxman and her husband Ethan Bradley Foxman; his sister, Sharon Flescher; his sister-in-law, Marion Flescher; and his grandchildren, Benjamin Theodore Foxman, Samuel Holland Foxman, and Rachel Dalia Foxman. He was also predeceased by his brother, David Flescher.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday May 5, in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Avenue, Hartford, with Rabbi David J. Small officiating. Interment will follow at the Emanuel Synagogue Cemetery, 1361 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield.
