Hawks spread their wings to help Hebrew HealthCare

On Friday, April 1, volunteers from the University of Hartford participated in the Hawks Helping Hartford Service Day by helping bring a beautiful spring touch to the surroundings at Hebrew HealthCare (HHC) in West Hartford. Using inspirational quotes provided by HHC’s Life Enrichment Dept., they painted flowerpots, planted colorful spring flowers in them, and then used them to decorate the facility’s halls. And when it was all done?

Time for everyone – volunteers, residents and staff – to get together for a small celebration.
