ROSE

Harry B. Rose, 90, of Windsor, died March 7. He was the husband of Claire A. (Guberman) Rose. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Samuel William Rose and Rachel (Agdish) Rose. He served in the Marine Corps during World War II, serving in combat in the Pacific Theater of Battle and fighting on Peleliu Island. He then served during the Korean Conflict as a sergeant in the White House guards in Washington, D.C. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Geryl Rose and her husband Ronald N. Paolillo of Windsor, and Elaine Bank and her husband Bruce of West Hartford; his granddaughters, Sarah and Becky; his sister Carole (Rose) Lynn and her husband Barry of Hollywood, Fla.; his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Rose, Edna Shainfarber, and Roslyn Katz and her husband Marvin; and many nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Melvin and Jack, and his brother-in-law George Shainfarber. HEBREW FUNERAL ASSOCIATION
