Howard A. Levine, 88, of Hamden, died Feb. 15. He was the husband of Helen (Jacobson) Levine. Born in New Haven, he was the son of the late Louis and Ida (Fineberg) Levine. He served as a Navy Corpsman during World War II. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his step-children, Michael Zanker and his fiance Caroline Mormile, and Stephanie Zanker-Rivera; his step-grandchildren, a niece and nephews. ROBERT E.
