Melvin Horwitz of Manchester, died March 5. He was the husband of Dorothy Horwitz. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Abbie Salt of Miami Shores, Fla., Laurie Bayer and her husband Aaron of Glastonbury, Wendy Horwitz of Philadelphia, Pa., and Aaron Horwitz and his wife Jenn of Fall City, Wa.; his grandchildren, John, Rose, Philip, Abraham, Noah, Anne and Jackson; and his brother Bert Horwitz and his wife Felice of New York, N.Y. He was a MASH surgeon in the Korean War.
