Selma D. Halperin, 97, of Hillsboro Beach, Fla., formerly of Cheshire, died Jan. 17. She was the widow of Joseph Halperin. She was born in the Bronx, N.Y. She is survived by her children, Randee Berliner and her husband Martin of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and New London, Fred Halperin and his wife Julie of Lake Conroe, Tex.; Susan Halperin of Hartford and Charlestown, R.I., and Melinda Kodz and her husband Daniel of Woodbury; her grandchildren, Marc and Wendy Berliner of Westwood, Mass., Elise and Scott Butson of East Hampton, Joshua Halperin and his wife Carol-Lin Halperin of San Antonio, Tex., Russell Halperin and his wife Marian of Austin, Tex., and Aaron Kodz of New York, N.Y.; and her great-grandchildren, Geoffrey, Ashley-Linn, and Alyssa Halperin, Rachel and Jacob Berliner, and Lilah and Ephraim Butson. She was also pre-deceased by her grandson Adam Halperin of Houston, Tex.
