COHEN

Myron A. Cohen of Hartford died Jan. 7. He was the widower of Lola Cohen. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Joseph and Gertrude Cohen. A staff sergeant in the U.S. Army, he served as a medic in the European Theater during World War II. His unit was involved in the liberation of the Dachau concentration camp. He was an active member of the Beth Hillel Synagogue in Bloomfield. He is survived by his children, Marla of Hartford, and Craig and his wife Jeri of Grantham, N.H.; his sister, Ruth Klein of Aventura, Fla.; and his grandsons, Brendan Cohen, Sawyer Cohen, and Phillip Klimke; and his niece Elizabeth Klein.
