Noah Yontef Mathog, son of Lori Yontef Mathog and David Mathog, will celebrate his bar mitzvah on Saturday, Feb. 6 at Beth El Temple in West Hartford. Noah is the brother of Jacob Yontef Mathog, and the grandson of Stewart Yontef of West Hartford and Harriet Cohen Haggerty of Milford, and Mary and Alan Mathog of Jacksonville, Fla. He is a seventh-grade honor student at King Philip Middle School. For Noah’s ‘Mitzvah Project,’ he turned his passion for music into helping others, by playing piano and saxophone at various assisted living facilities to entertain and bring joy into the lives of residents.
