Michael S. Sherman, 87, of Stamford, died Nov. 7. He was the husband of Harriett N. Rubin. Born in Stamford, he was the son of the late Joseph H. and Gertrude S. Sherman. He served in the U.S. Army, Judge Advocate Corps. He was a member of Temple Beth El. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Jennifer S. Torbick of Norwalk, Joseph M. Sherman of Natick, Ma., and Pamela S. Lesser of Wayland, Ma.; his grandchildren, Alexandra, Davi, Kayla, Daniel, Sophia and Anna; and his brother Edward J. Sherman of Newtown Square, Pa. LEO P.
