Jay Irwin Grossman, 77, of Orange, formerly of Branford and Newington, died Nov. 20. He was the husband of Elaine (Marcus) Grossman. Born in Meriden, he was the son of Dorothy (Rosofsky) and Max Grossman. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Andrea of Boston, Mass., Michael (Abigail Fierman) of Boston, Mass; his grandsons, Tyler and Jack, of Boston, Mass.; his brother, H. Robert “Bub” Grossman (Glenda) of Westerly, R.I.; and his sister, Janet Grossman of Quogue, N.Y. ROBERT E. SHURE FUNERAL HOME
