Evelyn Ertman, 87, of West Hartford, died Oct. 13. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Fannie (Epstein) Ertman. Evelyn was a retired employee of The Hartford Insurance Group. She leaves her sister, Joyce Merkin of Bloomfield. She was predeceased by her brother, Max Ertman, and her brother-in-law, Jacob Merkin.
