Rabbi Harold S. White, 83, died August 31 in Branford. Born in Hartford, he was the son of Morris J. White z”l and Eva Katz White z”l. He served as a U.S. Navy chaplain at Parris Island, S.C. and with the 7th Fleet in the Pacific. He was also predeceased by his siblings, Meyer White and his wife Silvia White, and Bernard White. He is survived by his son Ross McQuilkin; and his sister-in-law Doris White, and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. HEBREW FUNERAL ASSOCIATION
