Rella (Leventhal) Rubenstein, 91, of Hamden, died Sept. 23. She was the widow of Maxwell S. Rubenstein. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Anna (Smith) and David Leventhal. She is survived by her brother Arthur Leventhal; her children, David Rubenstein and his wife Jeannette, and Hedda Rubenstein and her husband Michael Dimenstein; her grandsons, Jonathan Rubenstein, Daniel and Robert Dimenstein, Michael, Raphael and Anthony Benzaki, and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Sylvia Sutton, Miriam Michlin, Mildred Felsenfeld, Irene Leventhal, Josephine Culang, and Thelma Leventhal, and her brother Henry Leventhal.
