Robert F. Ofstein, 86, of West Hartford, died July 11. He was the husband of Ida (Trabucco) Ofstein. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Irving and Dorothy (Ravich) Ofstein. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, James D. Ofstein and his wife Lucy of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and his daughter Hinda Jaksina and her husband Dennis of Weatogue; and his grandsons, Andrew and Brandon Levenson. CARMON FUNERAL HOME
