Israel Cancer Research Fund announces video competition

NEW YORK, N.Y. – In celebration of its 40th anniversary, the Israel Cancer Research Fund (ICRF) has announced an international video competition designed for young student writers, video editors and filmmakers. The winner of the first prize will receive $5,000. Cash prizes will also be awarded for second ($2,500) and third ($1,000) place winners.

The theme of the video should focus on the societal benefit of ICRF’s work as a non-profit charitable organization that funds cancer research in Israel, for the benefit of all mankind. Submissions must be between 30 seconds and two minutes in length. To view examples of previously produced ICRF videos and an application form, visit icrfonline.org..icrf-video-competition.

Application forms are due by August 3, and film submissions are due by before Oct. 1. Winners will be announced Nov. 2, 2015. The winning video will be presented at the ICRF 40th Anniversary Tower of Hope Gala in New York on Nov. 2.
