Gina Gelb (née Zweig), 66, of Fairfield, CT, passed away on July 11th at Yale-New Haven Hospital after an 18 year battle with breast cancer.  As a business and tax attorney, Gina first worked in Hartford, where a highlight of her career was arguing and prevailing before the State Supreme Court of CT. Later Gina worked as a tax attorney for IBM for most of her career.  Gina held an MBA and J.D., both from the University of Connecticut, and a Bachelor’s Degree in math from Yeshiva University’s Stern College for Women. Gina took great pride in her family, acting ethically in business, giving charity and helping others, often anonymously; and in being an eternal optimist.  She is survived by her husband, Larry; two children, Paul and Rena; and four beautiful grandchildren, Eitan, Navah, Joshua, and Jennifer.  She was buried in Beit Shemesh, Israel on Monday, July,13.  Donations can be made to Sharsheret, 1086 Teaneck Road Suite 2G, Teaneck, NJ 07666, (www.sharsheret.org) or American Friends of ALYN Hospital, 122 East 42nd Street Suite 1519, New York, N.Y. 10168, (www.alynus.org).
